My dear friends and fellows,

Warmly welcome to our website.

Today I am incredibly honored to address right here, and would like to extend my sincere greetings and heartfelt gratitude to all the friends and customers who came alongside of us from all walks of life. After more than 60 years’ hardships, Zhongyin has grown from a cottage workshop into a national battery manufacturer. I am quite sure the achievement to this day did not come without challenges, sacrifices, determination, grit and sweat. It is you who make the moment.

In 1800

An Italian scientist Volta invented the Voltaic cell.

In 1896

One U.S. battery company invented the first battery around the world, bringing zinc-manganese dioxide dry batteries into the industrial era.

In 1912

Hu Guoguang, an industrialist and electrical engineering expert, built the first battery factory in China.

In 1930

batteries produced in China were superior to imported ones because of their competitive price and great quality, thereupon won the local market.

In 1937

batteries made in China began to be exported for the first time. They were sold overseas and won a good reputation abroad.

In 1954

Ningbo Jiangbei battery production team was set up, which was the predecessor of Sonluk battery.

In 1966

Ningbo battery realized mechanization of the battery production through the technical revolution.

In 1972

the birth of "Pairdeer" brand.

In 1982

Ningbo battery went overseas for the first time and entered the global market competition.

In 1991

Ningbo Battery General Factory was funded.

In 1993

Ningbo Battery General Factory was granted the right to import and export, and established Zhongyin (Ningbo) battery Co., Ltd as a joint venture between Bank Of China HK (Group) Investment Co., Ltd and Ningbo Sonluk Battery Co., Ltd.

In 1994

Committed to the development and research of alkaline battery and introduced the first alkaline battery production line from FDK Company in Japan.

In 1995

Pairdeer battery outstood in many other brands.

In 1997

obtained IS09002 quality Management System certification.

In 1999

the company fully realized the alkaline battery mercury-free production, becoming the earliest green battery manufacturer in the industry.

In 2002

The Company passed the ISO9001 Research and Development Center audit and ISO14001 environmental management system audit through the internationally renowned certification body - Det Norske Veritas (DNV) . New Joint Venture Zhongyin (Ningbo) Battery Co., Ltd was set up by the corporation with Gold Peak Batteries International Ltd.

In 2004

Postdoctoral workstation was established.

In 2005

Zhongyin Charitable Foundation was funded."LR6 Digital King battery and production line research and development and industrialization" project won the second prize of national Science and Technology progress.

In 2008

Entered Ningbo National High-tech Zone and became the largest alkaline battery manufacturer in China.

In 2013

“500 production line”, the first line in the world that required the operation of only 3 workers, independently developed were completed and put into operation.

In 2016

The fourth-generation full automatic alkaline battery production line was designed and created.

In 2018

The laboratory testing project in Zhongyin(Ningbo) Battery Co.,Ltd has met the qualification of CNAS.

In 2020

Pairdeer 66th Anniversary.
