Questions And Answers
-
What makes your batteries different from the competitors?Pairdeer Ultra Alkaline Batteries are made from the highest quality materials available today. Every battery we make goes through rigorous testing to assure you will get the highest quality product every time! At Pairdeer, our quality standards are so high, our defect rate is less than 5 batteries per million.
-
Do your batteries leak? No, our patented double-barrier leak protection prevents leakage, guaranteed! Our batteries go through rigorous testing to assure you get the highest quality batteries, which are better than other brands.
-
Will your batteries hurt the environment? No. Our batteries do not contain Lead, and are Mercury and Cadmium-free.
-
What is the difference between carbon batteries and alkaline batteries?Alkaline batteries last up to 6-9 times longer than ordinary carbon batteries.
-
How do batteries work?Ions conduct electricity by directional movement between the positive and negative electrodes within a cell.
-
What is a short circuit? The positive and negative electrodes of the battery are connected
-
What is discharge capacity for a battery? An amount of power or actual working time given by a battery under a certain condition.
-
What is leakage? The electrolyte inside the battery automatically leaks to the outer surface of the battery or battery components.
-
What are the advantages of alkaline batteries over general zinc-Manganese dry batteries?Under the same model, the battery performance is 3-7 times of the common battery capacity and discharge time.
-
How to store the battery correctly?Battery storage time, temperature and humidity in storage environment have great impact on the battery. In general, 1) Batteries should be stored in a clean, cool and ventilated place; 2) Appropriate and recommended temperature 50-77℉, humidity 40-65%; 3) Storage time shall not be too long; 4) Arrange neatly when stored and do not connect the positive and negative poles in case of short circuit.
-
What matters when using batteries?1) Check whether the contact parts of the electric appliance and battery are clean, wipe them with wet cloth if necessary, and load them with correct polarity after drying 2) Do not mix used and new batteries; 3)Disposable batteries cannot be heated or charged; 4) Do not disassemble the battery; 5) Switch off after using the electric device. Battery should be removed when the electric device is not used for a long time.
-
How to determine the power and power consumption capacity of an electrical appliance? It depends the electronic device. Check it on device instructions.
-
The long shelf life of the battery means that the battery could be stored for a long time? No. Self-discharge exists in the battery. The longer storage time, the more power loss.
-
Why do alkaline batteries have better performance? The outer can is made of high quality steel and the inner part adopted high performance electrode material. It has more than three times the power of a common battery on low-power devices and seven times the power on a high-power device.
-
Can alkaline batteries be charged? Not at all. When charging, a large amount of gas will be produced inside the battery, which will increase the battery pressure and result in battery explosion or leakage.
-
Why can't you mix used batteries with new ones?Because the new battery holds high power while used battery energy is less low.The lifespan of the new battery will be shortened when they are mixed. What’s worse, the new battery could make used battery overdischarge, cause leakage and damage electric device.
-
Are alkaline batteries harmful?Nope. They are mercury-free and environmental friendly and green.
